HISTORY – Our genuine Euro specification example wpozzz91 z GS100259 was first registered in October 1985 in Italy before finding its way to Germany in 2001 where it was purchased by the last custodian who has sparingly used the car since. Covering a mere 36,000 kilometers in 17 years, this iconic 80’s example offers a full Porsche dealer service history and, on request, can be Porsche dealer serviced again before finding a new home. This pampered example has also recently received Historical German registration and now awaits a proud new custodian. Consistent with such a prized example, all relevant Porsche literature is available along with a set of three keys.

EXTERIOR - This genuine European Carrera is finished in the seldom seen Porsche Garnet Red Metallic (Granatrot metallic – Farbcode 822) only used between 1985 – 1986 in 911 guise. The mostly original paintwork still boasts an even shine and confirms that the car has lead a very sheltered life; all panels are straight and damage free. Sadly, the passenger mirror casing bears a few classic car scars but, does not offend. The car has recently been converted back to its original factory boot, but we do also have the desirable large rear wing boot too, if so requested. This, we believe, was fitted in the late nineties along with some rear paint application, all of which have stood the test of time particularly well. The ultimate 1980’s object of desire.

INTERIOR - The splendid interior of this 911 is a delightful throwback to 1980’s supercar glamour. Tasteful contrasting half black leather trim and dark grey cloth seats are perfectly matched with light grey carpeting. Completely damage free, the interior is conclusively consistent with such a low mileage example. Model features include an electric sunroof and an original factory alarm.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION – The original engine with matching (915) 5 speed transmission are in smooth unison and offer 3,164cc and a punchy European 231 ps. Once warm, the combination is not to be underestimated and requires careful modulation in all aspects but, treated correctly, the rewards are well documented and should bring a smile to any classic car fan. No less than 14 Porsche dealer stamps proudly adorn the Porsche Service book, along with a Porsche Certificate confirming the cars pedigree.
WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES - The factory option increased 16” Fuchs alloy wheels are in good condition and matched with Bridgestone S-02 - 225/50 ZR16 rears and appropriate 205/50 ZR16 fronts. The car stops exactly how it should!!
