Nelson Racing Engines Twin-Turbo LS 427 Crate Engine

This 427ci V8 crate engine was built by Nelson Racing Engines of Chatsworth, California, and it features dual 72mm turbochargers and is rated by the manufacturer to produce up to 1,650 horsepower on racing fuel or 1,225 horsepower on pump gasoline. The Dart iron block is equipped with a Dart billet crankshaft, BoostLine forged connecting rods, JE Pistons, a custom hydraulic roller camshaft, a COMP Cams rocker-arm system, a Cloyes timing chain, LS3 cylinder heads, 1,200cc fuel injectors, Holley fuel management, an air-conditioning compressor, a power-steering pump, and various pulleys and brackets.
